The InterReality Research Group is a multidisciplinary research group that focuses on the interrelations between different virtual spaces (and their “inhabitants”) and the real world.

InterReality’s research is situated at the intersection between the Humanities (Semiotics, Translation Studies, Speculative Design, Architecture) and Social Sciences (HCI, Media Studies, Games Research, Participatory design).

InterReality works on three key research projects (NEXR, Mobility Minshift, and InterReal) as well as several individual PhD projects and collaborations with CONVERGENCE and the Flagship UNITE.

The group is led by Prof. Mattia Thibault.
